For the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, pets must be in good health and up to date on vaccinations. We also conduct a temperament evaluation to ensure each dog is comfortable in a structured group environment.

• Rabies

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
• Negative fecal test within the past 12 months
• Valid town license (for Connecticut residents)

From puppies to our older furry friends, dogs of all ages are welcome in our daycare program, provided they are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and are in good overall health.

A day at New Inn Kennels daycare is supervised by our highly trained staff. All staff members are certified in pet CPR, first aid, new dog evaluation, canine body language and group management. Daycare includes supervised group play, rest breaks, outdoor time, and enrichment activities. Playtime averages 5 hours on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends (weather dependent), with breaks provided based on each dog’s energy level. Breaks are provided as needed to match each dog’s age and activity level, especially if they become overstimulated.

Please bring your dog on their collar / harness and leash, before play begins these will be removed for safety. If your dog has specific dietary needs or requires medication during the day, please provide clear instructions or communicate any special needs with the front desk staff.

After the evaluation is complete, you can book daycare based on availability. We recommend booking in advance via your owner profile, phone, email, or text to secure your dog’s spot and maintain proper staff-to-dog ratios for safe supervision.
